Hemp & Cannabis Agriculture and Horticulture Research
From the late 1900s to the 2000s Moong families, immigrants, and American descendants would grow throughout "the Hill".
Anza and several other mountain communities (including Garner Valley, Idyllwild, Pinyon Pines and Aguanga) are collectively referred to as "the Hill." Today this route is marked as the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail.
In 2018, Anza Valley Family Farm was established by a Father and Son duo with a dream to share the natural beauty and history of Anza.
Mission & Goals:
- Study the local grow culture that has had a 40 year presence in the Anza Valley
- Decipher the local Master Grower's how to guide in order to survive rural and poor conditions of 'The Hill'.
- Understand the challenges and opportunities presented by the business as we legally progress from seed to sale.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the complex process of cultivation, production, and management, including Plant care, yield maximization and more.
- Develop consumer solutions to help fund research programs to alternative compassionate care for veterans and those in need.
